Flower Color: One of the standout features of Vanilla Strawberry™ is the color transformation of its blooms. The flowers begin as creamy white in early summer and gradually change to a deep pink or strawberry red as the season progresses.
Flower Shape: Vanilla Strawberry™ produces large, cone-shaped panicles, typical of panicle hydrangeas. The flowers are dense and full, creating an impressive, showy display. The panicles can grow quite large, reaching up to 8–12 inches in length.
Size: This cultivar grows to about 5 to 6 feet tall and wide, making it a medium-sized shrub.
Bloom Time: Vanilla Strawberry™ blooms from mid to late summer (typically July through September). The bloom time is long-lasting, and the flowers hold their color well as they age, which helps maintain garden interest throughout the season.
Hardiness: It is hardy in USDA zones 3–8.
Sunlight: Vanilla Strawberry™ thrives in full sun but can tolerate some partial shade.
Soil: Prefers well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil.
